How did you come up with the idea for this product?
As a woman who’s tried to be independent in her life and has been motivated by strong, powerful women around, I was quite perplexed by the fact that when it comes to menstrual hygiene, women have absolutely no control on what they are exposing their bodies to. Moreover, as a regular user of sanitary pads, when I tried to find a product that educates me about its composition and its effects on my body, I unfortunately did not find any. I think menstrual hygiene has been a very neglected aspect of a woman’s health and lifestyle needs. And this is essentially because periods are still perceived to be embarrassing and shameful. This prompted me to create a brand that’s not only transparent and honest about what it offers women but also empowers them and educates them about the various aspects of menstrual hygiene.

What has been the best part of your experience?
I feel building something from scratch and being able to call it your own is a great joy. But what’s actually magnificent is witnessing thousands of others believing in what you have built, and accepting it. Getting up every morning, and feeling that we have been able to stand true to the belief of our customers is the best moment of every single day.
